Our Meeting Room

We welcome community organizations to use our Meeting Room. In order of priority, we reserve the room for:

  1. Midlothian Public Library and other library-related groups.
  2. Official agencies and boards of the Village of Midlothian.
  3. Educational, cultural, or civic groups sponsored by Midlothian residents.
  4. Non-profit organizations.
  5. Non-commercial meetings such as local businesses holding training, tutoring groups, and local homeowner's associations.

If you wish to reserve our Meeting Room, please read our Meeting Room Policy, then fill out an online application. You will be contacted by the library in response.

 Please note:

  1. Please turn in your application at least one week in advance of the date you request. The more notice you give us, the better.
  2. Library events take precedence, so please do not be surprised if your first-choice date is not available. Having backup dates in mind is recommended.
  3. Your meeting room request is not confirmed unless you have received a response from the library.

Our Study Room

Our study room is available for quiet study or small meetings of up to 6 people. This room may be reserved for up to two hours at a time. If the room is not reserved for another patron and other patrons are not waiting to use it, this time may be extended in one-hour increments. Patrons who arrive 15 or more minutes late for their reservation will forfeit their reservation if another patron is waiting to use the study room.

To use the Study Room, reserve the study room online, visit the Checkout Desk, or call (708) 535-2027. Use of our Study Room is governed by our Meeting Room Policy.
